This page was created in the spirit of April Fool's Day and is not meant to be taken seriously.

Users for Deletion (UfD) is a place where Wikipedians decide what should be done with users which aren't covered by other specialized deletion discussion areas. Items sent here are usually discussed for seven days; then they are either deleted by an system administrator, kept, trouted, dunked in a mop bucket, renamed, tagged as a sockpuppet of Oshwah, based on community consensus as evident from the discussion, consistent with policy, and with careful judgment of the rough consensus if required.

Purpose

Users for deletion may be used:

for problematic users;
for non-problematic users; or
for malfunctioning users.

Requests to undelete users deleted after discussion here, and debate whether discussions here have been properly closed, both take place at Wikipedia:Deletion review, in accordance with Wikipedia's undeletion policy. Due to technical limitations, namely medical science's inability to resurrect the dead, users which have gained consensus for undeletion are added to a list, pending undeletion at a time when resurrection is technically feasible.

Before nominating a user for deletion

Before nominating a user for deletion, please consider these alternatives:

Ignore the user.
Discuss with the user.
Trout the user.
Resolve the dispute with the user.
Report the user to the dramaboard.
Report the user to multiple boards.
Report the user for edit warring.
Report the user for vandalism.
Request global locking for the user.
