The seventeenth edition of the IAAF World Championships is scheduled to be held in 2019 in Doha, Qatar.

Host selection

Three cities applied for organising the event:[1]

The final selection of the host city was carried out on November 18, 2014 in Monaco.[2]

The Khalifa International Stadium in 2010
