Whedonverse is a collection of American comic books published by Boom! Studios and based on television series created by Joss Whedon.

Publication history

Boom! Studios debuted Whedonverse as a new line of comic books, being reimagined versions of most original works by Joss Whedon. The first comic, based on Firefly, premiered in November 2018.[1] Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered in January 2019.[2] Angel premiered in April 2019 and concluded on December 2019.[3] Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Willow premiered in June 2020 and concluded in November 2020.[4]

A crossover event between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel titled "Hellmouth" featured between October 2019 and February 2020.[5]
