Venky is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language comedy thriller film that released on 26 March 2004 and was directed by Srinu Vaitla and produced by Atluri Purnachandra Rao. Ravi Teja and Sneha played the lead roles. Devi Sri Prasad composed music for the film. Srinu Vaitla's first film association with writers Kona Venkat and Gopimohan happened with this film.[1]

Plot

Venkateswarlu (Ravi Teja), a wayward youth in Vizag travels to Hyderabad along with his friends on a train as he has been accidentally selected for police training, He meets Sravani (Sneha) in the train, falling in love with her and proposing the same to her. She rejects the proposal. Later. Venky and his friends threaten Sravani's father and another lady co-passenger in a state of inebriation, both of whom are found dead the next morning. Fearing trouble, Venky and his friends escape to Hyderabad and join the training where they find out that their boss Yogendra Kumar Sharma (Ashutosh Rana) is behind the murders, what happens next and how Venky solves the crime is the rest of the movie.
