North Lawrence is a census-designated place in southwestern Lawrence Township, Stark County, Ohio, United States.[2] It has a post office with the ZIP code 44666.[3] The community is part of the CantonMassillon Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 212 at the 2020 census.

History

North Lawrence was originally called Lawrence, and under the latter name was laid out in 1852.[4] The community derives its name from the township in which it is located.[5] A post office called North Lawrence was established in 1854.[6] North Lawrence includes Bowdil, Ohio.[7]
