Lyons is an unincorporated community located within Bernards Township, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States.[2] As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 228. Lyons is 2.5 miles (4.0 km) south-southeast of Bernardsville. Lyons has a post office with ZIP code 07939.[3]
Economy
The Veterans Administration, Lyons Campus, is located here.[4] 38 buildings, containing neuropsychiatric patients resided here in 1931. It was named part of a National Historic District in 2013.[5] In 2018, it employed 60 physicians.[6]
Transportation
The community is served by New Jersey Transit train service at the Lyons station[7] on the Gladstone Branch to Newark Broad Street Station and Hoboken Terminal.[8]
