The all-girl group Suntribe represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "Let's Get Loud", written and composed by Sven Lõhmus.
Before Eurovision

The final was held on 5 February 2005 during a television show hosted by Ines and Marko Reikop. The winning song was selected by televoting.

At Eurovision
Because Estonia failed to qualify in 2004 Suntribe were forced to compete in the Eurovision semi-final, performed 12th, following Belgium and preceding the Norway. They came 20th with 31 points failing to qualify to the Grand Final. Therefore, Estonia will have to compete in the semi-final again in ESC 2006.
The spokesperson who revealed Estonia's votes for other countries was Estonia's 1996 and 1997 entrant Maarja-Liis Ilus.[1]

Suntribe
The winner of the national selection was girl band Suntribe.[3] The original line-up was Mari-Leen Kaselaan, Rebecca Kontus, Laura Põldvere and Jaanika Vilipo. They were later joined by a fifth member, Daana Ots.[citation needed]
Estonia performed in twelfth position in the semi-final of the 2005 Contest which was held in Kiev, Ukraine on 19 May 2005, but failed to qualify for the grand final after finishing in 20th place.[4] Several members of the band later split to pursue solo careers.[citation needed]
