Sehban Azim is an Indian television actor, having worked in TV shows like Dill Mill Gayye, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Humsafars, Thapki Pyar Ki and Bepannaah.[2] He starred in the short film Station, and currently portrays ACP Malhar Rane in Zee TV's popular daily TV soap Tujhse Hai Raabta.[3]

Early life

Born in Delhi to a writer mother and painter father Abdul, Azim did studentship at Dyal Singh College (Delhi).[4][1] During college days he did small jobs like promoter or coordinator.[5] Azim left college in second year to pursue a computer course to gain employment.[6] The computer course helped him get a job with an IT firm.[7]

Career

Azim moved to Mumbai to pursue his acting career. He is a poet as well.[8]

Film

Azim had his career beginnings with lead role in the short film Stations directed by Emmanuel Quindo Palo.[9] It was conferred with a number of recognitions.[10] He was next seen in a cameo on Karma - Crime Passion Reincarnation,[11] followed by Tequila Nights and the thriller 64 Panne.[12]

Television

Azim debuted on television with Star Plus's medical series Dill Mill Gaye as Dr. Yuvraj Singh.[13] It wrapped up in 2010.[14]

He was back to television in 2012 and collaborated with the same network again as Karan Shekhawat in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai but quit in 2013.[15]

He agreed to an episodic opposite Pooja Gor on Yeh Hai Aashiqui as Neel.[16]

Azim next appeared in Channel V's Dil Dosti Dance as Aditya Khurana.[17]

He enacted the role of Suraj Sharma in Pyaar Ka The End.[18]

He then signed Sony Entertainment Television's Humsafars and played Zaki Chaudhary.[19]

Post Humsafars, Azim continued doing episodics and was seen in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya as Karan Singh.[20]

He played opposite Shivshakti Sachdev as Rohit in MTV Webbed.[21]

In December 2015, the role of Akshay Bansal in Silsila Pyaar Ka was signed by him but later he exited.[22]

In 2016, Azim entered Colors TV's Thapki Pyar Ki as Kabir Katyal.[23]

In May 2017, he was roped in for TV series Udann as ACP Ajay Khurana.[24]

Next, he did extended cameo appearance as Yash Arora in Colors TV's Bepannah.

As of 2018, Azim is seen on Zee TV drama Tujhse Hai Raabta where he plays ACP Malhar Rane.[25]
