The Kalhoro (ڪلهوڙو) is a Abbasi tribe of Sindh. They are Sindhi speaking tribe of Arab origin and claim direct descendants from Abbas ibn Abd Al Mutalib, companion and paternal uncle of Prophet Muhammad.[1][2][3] They founded the Kalhora Dynasty that ruled the Sindh stretched from Karachi to Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan for nearly a century from 1701 – 1783 CE.[4]
