Bard of Blood is an Indian fictional spy thriller web television series based on the 2015 espionage novel of the same name by Bilal Siddiqi.[1][2] Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the series stars Emraan Hashmi[3] in the lead role along with Kirti Kulhari, Vineet Kumar Singh, Jaideep Ahlawat and Sobhita Dhulipala.[4][5][6] It is a seven-episode series that revolves around the story of an ex-IIW agent.[7][8] The series premiered on 27 September 2019 on Netflix.[9]

Plot

Political espionage thriller based on "Bard of Blood," by Bilal Siddique. Follows four Indian intelligence officers belonging to the Indian Intelligence Wing (IIW) who are compromised, before they can relay an important piece of information to India. They get captured and are about to be decapitated.
