Sudheer Babu (born Posani Naga Sudheer Babu; 11 May 1980) is an Indian film actor and former professional Badminton player. He primarily works in the Telugu film industry. He debuted in the film Shiva Manasulo Shruti. His films include Prema Katha Chitram and Baaghi.

Badminton Career

Babu became the Number 1 ranked badminton player of Andhra Pradesh as well as Karnataka. He has played alongside Pullela Gopichand as a doubles partner.[1] He is scheduled to play the role of Gopichand in the latter's biopic.[2]

Film career

Babu began his acting career with the film Ye Maaya Chesave, which was directed by Gautham Menon. The film was produced by his sister-in-law Manjula Ghattamaneni.[3]

Babu debuted in a leading role with the film SMS (Siva Manasulo Sruthi), directed by Tatineni Satya and released on 10 February 2012.[4][5] It was a remake of the 2009 Tamil film Siva Manasula Sakthi.[6]

Prema Katha Chitram was released on 7 June 2013.[7] The same year, he appeared in Aadu Magaadra Bujji, which was directed by G. Krishnareddy and features Asmita Sood and Poonam Kaur.[8]

In 2020 he appeared in "V", produced by Dil Raju.[9]
