Poland entered a team in both the men's and the women's tournament. The men's team won four out of five matches in the group play, finishing third in the group, and advancing to the quarterfinals, where they lost over five sets to Italy. Their final ranking was tied for 5th place. The women's team managed to win only one match in the group play, finishing fifth in the group, and failing to advance further in the tournament.
