Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~ is the fourth Japanese studio album (eight overall) by South Korean boy band BTS.[1] It contains Japanese versions of songs previously released on their Love Yourself: Answer (2018), Map of the Soul: Persona (2019) and Map of the Soul: 7 (2020) albums, as well as three new, original Japanese-language tracks: "Stay Gold" (lead single), "Your eyes tell", and "Lights" (previously released in 2019). It will be released on July 15, 2020.[2]

Editions

There are eight versions of the album available for pre-order: Edition A, Edition B, Edition C, Edition D, Regular Edition, BTS Japan Official Fanclub Limited Edition, Universal Music Store Limited Edition, and Seven Net Limited Edition.[3][4] All albums share the same track listing.[5]

  • Limited Edition A [UICV-9323]: This edition comes with a Blu-ray Disc, 32-page booklet, and sticker sheet A.[6]
  • Limited Edition B [UICV-9324]: This edition comes with a DVD, 32-page booklet, and sticker sheet B.[7]
  • Limited Edition C [UICV-9325]: This edition comes with a 56-page photo booklet A.[8]
  • Limited Edition D [UICV-9326]: This edition comes with a 56-page photo booklet B.[9]
  • Regular Edition [UICV-1111]: This CD only edition comes with a 20-page lyric booklet and 1 of 7 random first press bonus photocards (Selfie ver.).[10]
  • UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE Limited Edition [PDCV-1054]: This CD only edition comes with a 20-page lyric booklet and 1 of 7 random bonus photocards (Colourful ver.).[11]
  • BTS JAPAN OFFICIAL FANCLUB Limited Edition [PROV-1007]: This CD only edition comes with a 20-page lyric booklet and 1 of 7 random bonus photocards (Monochrome ver.).[12]
  • Seven Net Limited Edition [PROV-1008]: This CD only edition comes with a 20-page lyric booklet and a set of 7 jacket changing cards.[13]
