The Tata Altroz is a subcompact hatchback manufactured by Tata Motors. The Altroz was revealed at the 89th Geneva International Motor Show alongside the new Buzzard, Buzzard Sport, and H2X subcompact SUV concept.[1] It was launched to the Indian market on 22 January 2020.[2]
An electric version of the Altroz is expected to launch on sale around late 2020 or 2021.[3]
Safety
In 2020, the Tata Altroz was subjected to crash tests by the Global NCAP and it achieved the result of "five stars" for adult occupant protection and three stars for child occupant protection. It is the first Indian-made hatchback car to achieve this rating.[4] It scored a maximum of 16.13 points on a scale of 17 for adult occupant safety and 29.00 points on a scale of 49 for child occupant safety.
