Murray High School is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located in Lavington, Albury, New South Wales, Australia.

Established in 1976, the school enrolled approximately 650 students in 2018, from Year 7 to Year 12, of whom 9 per cent identify as Indigenous Australians and 10 per cent from a language background other than English.[1] The school is operated by the NSW Department of Education; and the acting principal is Norman Meader.[2]

The inaugural principal of Murray High School was H. Lyle Ingram (1976–1981).

Curriculum

Year 7 classes include: English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, PD/Health/PE, Chinese, Music, Year Adviser, Mandatory Technology and Visual Arts.

Year 8 classes include: English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, PD/Health/PE, Music, Year Adviser, Mandatory Technology, Visual Arts and one elective classes per semester.

Year 9 and 10 classes include: English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, PD/Health/PE, Music, Year Adviser/careers and two elective classes.

Year 11 and 12 students must choose from: Agriculture, Ancient history, Biology, Business studies, Chemistry, Chinese (Beginners or Continuers), Community & Family Studies, Drama, Economics, Engineering studies, English (Studies, Standard, Advanced or Extension), Food Technology, Geography, Information Processes & Technology, Industrial Technology (Furniture & Timber Products Industries or Graphics Industries), Investigating Science, Legal Studies, Mathematics (Standard, Advanced or Extension), Modern History, Music 1, Personal Development Health PE, Physics, Society & Culture, Software Design & Development, Textiles & Design, Visual Arts, Visual Design.
