English Bazar Municipality is responsible for the civic administration of the UA city Malda City in Malda district, West Bengal, India.[3] This Municipality established in 1868. It is one of the oldest Municipalities in India.[citation needed]

Geography

English Bazar Municipality is located at 25°00′03″N 88°08′48″E / 25.0007°N 88.1466°E / 25.0007; 88.1466 in Malda City. It is the sub district headquarters of the city, with the district headquarters being Malda Sadar subdivision.
