APU/Citrus College is a completed at-grade light rail station in the Los Angeles County Metro Rail system. It is located between Palm Drive and Citrus Avenue, a block north of Foothill Boulevard, in Azusa, California next to Citrus College and within walking distance of Azusa Pacific University. When it opens, this station will be served as the Metro Gold Line's new temporary terminal station.[1][2]
This station is currently approved for design/construction as part of the Gold Line Foothill Extension project Phase 2A. It will begin revenue service on March 5, 2016.[3]
Future Metro Rail service
Gold Line Foothill Extension service to this station will begin on March 5, 2016.
The Gold Line will then continue east towards the future Montclair station as Phase 2B.
