Azam of Kalat
Appearance
Mir Mohammad Azam Jan Khan was the Khan of Kalat from 3 November 1931 to 10 September 1933. He faced off against Prime Minister Shams Shah who wanted to make his own son the Khan. Anjuman-e-Ittehad-e-Balochan-wa-Balochistan spread anti-Shams propaganda, helping Azam Jan secure his position only to be betrayed and sidelined upon his accession to the throne.[1]
He was succeeded by Mir Ahmad Yar Khan, who served until the khanate was formally disestablished in 1955.
