Bairatisal is a census town in Darjeeling district in the state of West Bengal, India.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[1] Bairatisal had a population of 5400. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Bairatisal has an average literacy rate of 82%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 57% of the males and 43% of females literate. 8% of the population is under 6 years of age.
