Brunonia Glacier

Brunonia Glacier (54°3′S 37°29′W / 54.050°S 37.483°W / -54.050; -37.483) is a glacier which flows east to the head of Sunset Fjord in the Bay of Isles, South Georgia. Charted in 1912-13 by American ornithologist and naturalist Robert Cushman Murphy, who visited South Georgia aboard the sealing brig Daisy of New Bedford, Massachusetts under Captain Benjamin D. Cleveland in 1912-13. Murphy named the glacier for his alma mater, Brown University. Named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC).
