Castle Island is a summer village in Alberta, Canada. It is located on Lac Ste. Anne, close to its mouth at Sturgeon River.

Demographics

In the 2011 Census, the Summer Village of Castle Island had a population of 19 living in 11 of its 20 total dwellings, a -13.6% change from its 2006 population of 22. With a land area of 0.05 km2 (0.019 sq mi), it had a population density of 380.0/km2 (984.2/sq mi) in 2011.[1]

In 2006, Castle Island had a population of 22 living in 20 dwellings, a 120.0% increase from 2001. The summer village has a land area of 0.05 km2 (0.019 sq mi) and a population density of 419.0/km2 (1,085/sq mi).[2]
