Christian socialists

[edit]

"This category is for followers of the Christian socialism movement, not for all socialists who are Christian."

Why was this edit done? If you're going to separate "socialists who are Christian" from "Christian socialists" you will need to make two categories. I don't see the point of making two separate categories here. If you want to make a separate category just for people who were a part of a specific time and place movement, you can do that, but "Socialists who are Christian" and "Christian Socialists" should be one in the same.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.15.206.153 (talkcontribs) `

I made this edit based on the existing description (The main article for this category is Christian socialism) and to explicitly state what articles should be included. We do not normally have categories based on the intersection of religion and another characteristic, see Wikipedia:Categorization/Ethnicity, gender, religion and sexuality. Christian Socialism is a type of socialism, and it is worthwhile having a category for its adherents. Verbcatcher (talk) 00:37, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
