Fairy Tale is an upcoming American dark fantasy television series, based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King.
Premise
[edit]A boy inherits the keys to a kingdom, one that is seeing the forces of good and evil at war.
Production
[edit]It was announced in September 2022 that Paul Greengrass was set to direct, produce and write the film, an adaptation of the Stephen King novel.[1] Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights to the film the following month.[2]
No further developments were announced until October 2024, when it was repurposed into a television series at A24. J. H. Wyman was set as showrunner, with Greengrass still onboard to executive produce, but was now renegotiating in regards to directing.[3]
