Paul Reilly is a Scottish Entrepreneur Investor in Private Equity and Capital Markets Born in Coatbridge around 1973/74.

Background He grew up in the wroking class council estate of Sikeside,Coatbridge in a large Irish-Scots Roman Catholic family. Reilly went to the local Catholic Primary school, then onto St.Patricks RC High School, Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire. Then later going onto to study Scots Law and an LLB at The University of Strathclyde Law School.

Entrepreneurship Reilly started his first business at the age of 18 which was a Roofing & Plastering company after he left his apprenticeship with a local Coatbridge based company called J.G.Borland Slaters & Plasterers. He expanded this business into other areas of the building trade and sold it around 5 years later. He then moved to Canary Wharf London to work and enrol himself in the London School of Economics to study Economics & Finance to further his interest in Global Financial Markets. He returned to Glasgow, Scotland in 1997/98 to become a father and started a new construction company with his father, this time it was a civil engineering company focusing on reinforced concrete frames. By the age of 26/27 he employed over 200 opperatives on multiple construction sites across Scotland & North England with a multi-million pound annual turnover. He sold this company around or before the 2007-2008 financial crisis to then focus primarilly on investing, Private Equity and proprietary trading in Global Capital Markets. In 2008 during the global credit crunch and the ubiquitous use of smart phones like APPLEs Iphone and early adoption of social media Paul with his brother Stephen created a number of Tech and Internet businesses. They created an international online female modelling competion called Uber Girl, which involed live music events around the UK & Ireland with online voting via smartphones and the internet. They further expanded their brand to include additional businesses one a tv production company another an online tv content platform called UberG-TV, which was a new pioneering hybrid tv streaming and social media platform where users could watch original tv content created by the Reilly brothers production company while allowing its users to post comments and engage with other users below original video content. In 2009 Their pioneering UberG-TV online platform allowed users to also upload their own video content on their unique personal profiles and to allow other users to view and comment below their content before Facebook created this on their platform and before Twitter was created. The Reilly's tv production company created a number of new original content tv shows. One of them being a new tv game show called "Temptation Villa" which was to be filmed during the summer of 2010 in Malibu, California,USA, and presented by UK/USA model, celebrity and presenter Calum Best.

The UberG-TV online platform was owned 100% by the Reilly's in 2009/10 and had been given a multi-million pound valutaion by potential investors interested in a future Venture Capital funding round. Early 2010 they decided to put on hold all future work and investment on the UberG-TV social media & content creation platform until later in the year due to Paul Reilly unfortunately having to focus on his upcoming trial in mid 2010 for a wrongfull allegation of rape. Where he was found not guilty after a 5 day trial and with the jury coming back with their decision after around one hour at the High Court of Justiciary in Glasgow, Scotland[1]

In 2015 Paul Reilly authored a book called The R Word about the wrongfull allegation, trial, ordeal and psychological trauma he suffered from it. In his book he describes how he could no longer bring himself to be involved with the Uber Girl & UberG- TV tech & internet businesses after the trial due to the trauma of the allegation and trial.[2]

In 2012 Reilly made an attempted takeover of the local Coatbridge football team Albion Rovers FC however the deal fell through due to an inability to get agreement with all the shareholders. In 2022/23 he made another attempt to takeover Albion Rovers FC along with a consortium of investors from the UK/Ireland & USA as part of a large multi-million pound multi purpose development and to re-brand the club Shamrock Rovers to appeal to the unique Irish diaspora demographics of the town of Coatbridge[3][4][5][6]

In 2020 Reilly was claimed to be a member of a group of mysterious Stock market traders called The Tail riskTigers based out of the Cayman Islands who traded on finacial derivatives relating to unlikely Black Swan events or macro-economic events that presented substantial Tail Risk to Stock and or Bond Portfolios.[7]

Reilly is also a co-creator of a digital currency and digital assets tech and Web 3.0 company https://www.reillycoin.io[8] with a portfolio of investments in Private Equity.

Personal life Its beleived that Reilly was married and then divorced around 2007, he has at least one son from this marriage. He is a direct descendant of the O'Reilly's of East Breifne and is a member of the Global Executive Council of The Royal Court of East Breifne O'Reilly https://www.theroyalcourtofeastbreifneoreilly.org[9]
