French International School of Bombay

The French International School of Bombay (French: École Française Internationale de Bombay, EFIB) is a private French international institution in Worli, Mumbai, India,[1] near the Worli Sea Face.[2]It was established in 1983, with Its levels ranging from kindergarten all the way to senior high school (ages 2 through 18).[3] This school is recognized by the growing AEFE network of schools with 400 other institutions in well over 125 countries.[4]

The school is overseen by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AFEF), and is under Indian governing laws.The schools curriculum abides by the official programs of the national French education system.[4] The school is multilingual, which exposes the student's to a large variety of different cultures. The school is very welcoming to students, and even teachers of different nationalities and stresses the importance of learning English early on to their students.[5] They also offer their students a wide and diverse variety of extracurricular activities, this includes, kickboxing, soccer, capoeira, hip hop dancing, bollywood dancing, taekwando, yoga, MeTime Art Atelier, tabla, aerial silk, chess, robotics, mini tennis, badminton, mallakhamba, and tango.[6]
