Ghazipur City Railway Station(GCT) is largest and most important railway station of Ghazipur district. The station is situated 2 km north of Civil lines area, in the city of Ghazipur. The station lies in the North Eastern Railway Zone, Gorakhpur under Varanasi division. The station is directly connected to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Lucknow, Amritsar, Jabalpur, Guwahati and other major & important cities by routine trains and the coming year Ghazipur Railway Station Will Be Lagerst now it have single line railway route and coming year GCT will have double line Railway Route with electrification of Allahabad Jn-Varanasi Jn-Ghazipur City-Chhapra Jn Rail Route. And a New Rail line From Mau Jn to Tarighat Station Via- Ghazipur City Station and river bridge on ganga river.

11061/11062/11065/11066 Pawan Express(MUMBAI), Ganga Kaveri Express (Chennai Central), Dibrugarh Express, Harihar Express, Sadbhawna Express, Swatantra Senani,15231/32 Gondia - Muzaffarpur Express, 15159/60 Sarnath Express and 15115/16 Loknayak Express are some important trains from Ghazipur City Station.
