Helen Joyce Gabriel Flanagan (born 7 August 1990)[1] is an English actress and model best known for playing the character of Rosie Webster in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street.[2]
Television work
Flanagan has played Rosie Webster in Coronation Street since 2000, when she was ten years old. In 2006, she was nominated for the award of "Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor or Actress" in the British Soap Awards, losing to Ellis Hollins. In 2007, she was nominated for "Villain of the Year" at the same awards, this time losing to Jack P. Shepherd, who plays Coronation Street character David Platt. In October 2011, Flanagan announced that she would leave Coronation Street in February 2012 to pursue other interests.[3]
In November 2012, Flanagan participated in the twelfth series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, finishing in 7th place out of the 12 celebrities featured.

Personal life
Flanagan previously had a relationship with Manchester City player Scott Sinclair.[4]
In December 2012, Flanagan spoke of her battle with depression and anxiety, and revealed that she was on medication for attention deficit disorder and bipolar disorder.[5]
