Jawali, Maharashtra (Jaoli or Javali ) is a small village located in Mahadeva Mountain range of Phaltan Tehsil of Satara district of Indian state of Maharashtra. The village is also known as Siddhanathachi Jawali / Jaoli / Javli.

History

Jawali falls under the Phaltan Princely State and was the part of Old Maratha Empire under Royal Naik Nimbalkar.

Transport

MSRTC Buses from Phaltan Depot run regularly to Jawali, Aandrood to Shikhar-Shinganapur.

Occupation

The main occupation of the villagers here is Agriculture and the biggest Market Centre is in Phaltan.

Education

Phaltan is the nearest education centre. Many travel to Baramati, Pune, Mumbai, and other centers as per their choice. The village has one high school.
