Kafra (Template:Lang-ar) is a small town in northern Aleppo Governorate, northwestern Syria. Located some 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of the city of Aleppo and 10 km (6.2 mi) east of Azaz, it administratively belongs to Nahiya Sawran in Azaz District. Nearby localities include Jarez 2 km (1.2 mi) to the west, Kaljibrin 5 km (3.1 mi) to the southwest, and Sawran 3 km (1.9 mi) to the east. In the 2004 census, Kafra had a population of 2,859.[1]
