Kate O'Connell (née Newman; born 3 January 1980) is an Irish Fine Gael politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin Bay South constituency since the 2016 general election.[2]

She was a member of Dublin City Council from 2014 to 2016.[3][4]

O'Connell is a native of Kilbeggan, County Westmeath. She studied in the United Kingdom and she is now a practicing pharmacist, along with her husband Morgan. They run a pharmacy in Rathgar.

O'Connell supported the repeal of the Eighth Amendment of the Constitution of Ireland.
