Krishnagiri Dam is a dam built across Thenpennai River. It is located 7 km (4.3 mi) from Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu, India, between Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri which irrigates thousands of acres of land around Krishnagiri.[1] The Dam is operational from 1958, inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu K. Kamaraj. It has a gross capacity of 1666.0 M.Cft at FRL.[2]
