List of Doraemon films
This list of Doraemon films features both feature length and short films based on the manga and anime series, Doraemon. Since 1980, all of these films to date have been released by Toho.
The film series has sold over 113 million tickets at the Japanese box office,[a] surpassing Godzilla as the highest-grossing film franchise in Japan.[8] Doraemon is also the highest-grossing anime film franchise of all time and the 13th highest-grossing animated film franchise, by a combination of domestic and international releases.
Feature films
All the original series films were directed by Tsutomu Shibayama and Shunsuke Kikuchi was the music composer of the movies from the year 1980 to 2000 except the 1999 movie whose musicals were composed by Senri Ohe. Kikuchi was followed by Katsumi Horii for the movies of the years 2001-2004. The musicals for the films from 2006-present are composed by Kan Sawada.
