Mekéns (Mekem), or Amniapé,[2] is a nearly extinct Tupian language of the state of Rondônia, in the Amazon region of Brazil.
There are three groups of Mekens speakers:[1]
- Sakïrabiát (Sakirabiá, Sakiráp)
- Koaratira (Guaratira, a.k.a. Kanoé – not the same as the Kanoé language)
- Koarategayat (Guaratégaya, Guarategaja, Warategáya)
