They DO have different processes, respectively different ways, how to reach the same goal. Mercantilism is an ideology while protectionism is a policy. Robert Gilpin even states that Protectionism is a policy within mercantilism. Unfortunately i only found the powerpointpresentation, i do not remember the book where he states that... so my source is missing for the changes i made. undo Tag: Visual edit
