Manganese(II) telluride is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula MnTe.
Properties
[edit]Long thought to be antiferromagnetic, Manganese(II) telluride has been recently determined to be altermagnetic.[2] It has a Néel temperature of 307 K.[3]
Preparation
[edit]It can be produced by the fusion of manganese and tellurium in a vacuum.
