Mundingburra is a suburb of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. It is predominantly a residential suburb that is situated on the bank of the Ross River, adjacent to the suburb of Aitkenvale. The Electoral district of Mundingburra (The Constituency) which the suburb is situated in, is named after the suburb.

Services in Mundingburra include three schools:

Mundingburra State School caters for students from Prep to Year 6.[2] The school opened on 22 September 1884. [3]

St Joseph's Catholic School caters for students Prep-year 6. Established in 1924 in Rosslea, the school was relocated to its current site in Mundingburra in 1936. [4][5]

The Cathedral School of St. Anne & St. James is located at Ross River Road, Mundingburra. It caters for students from Early Childhood (including Kindergarten) to Year 12 and boarding students from Year 7 to 12.[6] The school opened on 1 January 1917 and recently celebrated its centenary[7]

The Mundingburra State School is adjacent to the Anderson Park, Pimlico.

Also in Mundingburra is Aplin's Weir crossing the Ross River.
