Newman Township is one of nine townships in Douglas County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,080 and it contained 528 housing units.[2]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 40.76 square miles (105.6 km2), of which 40.72 square miles (105.5 km2) (or 99.90%) is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 km2) (or 0.12%) is water.[2]
