Persatuan Sepak Bola Indonesia Kediri, commonly known as Persik Kediri, or Persik, is an Indonesian professional association football club based in Kediri, East Java. The club was founded in 1950 and currently competiting in the Liga 3.
History
The club was founded in 1950 by Raden Muchamad Machin, T.H.D. Rahmat, and M. Sanusi. Since the Liga Indonesia started in 1994, Persik has won, in 2003, 2006 and 2016 Indonesian Super League editions respectively. The club promoted to the top-tier level in the 2002. In the East Java, Persik Kediri have a great name, the team was famous football club also with Arema Indonesia, Persebaya, who to be best derby in East Java. The supporter of this club are called Persik Mania and Persik Nona.
