Chart performance
On December 9, 2009, Latin Nielsen Soundscan confirmed that the album debuted at #1 in Latin Pop and in Top Latin Albums chart in the U.S as well as #169 at the Billboard Top 200 albums chart selling 7,301 copies. A day after Billboard.biz reported that it was a mistake made by them because they were supposed to divide the two editions released of the album, one which is the standard CD selling 6,000 copies and the Double-disc CD–DVD selling over 1,000 copies slamming it from #1 making it #2 at the Latin Pop Albums and #4 at the Top Latin Albums chart and #198 at the Billboard Top 200 instead. However, if sales of both formats are combined, Primera Fila was indeed the highest selling Latin album of the week.
In its second week, the album fell to #7 on the Billboard Latin Albums chart and stayed there for the next three weeks. In its fifth week, however, the album actually managed to rise a position to #6 on the chart.
