Suspected sockpuppets

In addition to the obvious similarities in username, all have been pushing a link to a particular LA Times article, with only passing relevance to the articles they've been editing. Already blocked, noting here for the record and to check for sleepers/other accounts (some are being created and used on other wikis); I think there's some crosswiki abuse happening here as well, which might need taking a look at.   • Also, it's probably obvious, but I decided to block the accounts that used only the name of the mayor as well-known person blocks; due to recent events, it's possible these accounts might attract some kind of media scrutiny, so thought it would be better to be circumspect in the block messages. 5 users have edited JBN-TV Users 4 and 5 have both edited the following articles Luserna San Giovanni, John Charles Beckwith (British Army officer), Peter Waldo, Waldensian Evangelical Church and Waldensians. Users 4 and 5 have added links to the see also sections example [1] and [2]

I apologise if this is a waste of time.

  • They are  Confirmed to a whole bunch of locked socks, but I have nothing to add for the time being. @Knitsey: You can – or you can leave it up to the clerks to decide, it tends to not matter much. Two new socks. Filing a SPI because the first two accounts have only been soft blocked by @Daniel Case: for username policy violation and the third one is blocked only temporarily. Their editing pattern, all-capitals usernames, and their obsession with Talk:Esteban Handal Perez betray Piermak.

I have reverted User:William Kamm several times in the article William Kamm for inserting unsourced claims (and rather ridiculous ones at that) and issued appropriate warnings ([13]). As soon as the level went up to 4, User:The Little Pebble (a nickname Kamm seems to like) appeared and continued the same pattern, including the same edit summaries.[14].   • I don't think this is Piermark, their style is usually much more unhinged and I'm not aware of them having any particular interest in Haiti.
