Silver Sands is a summer village in Alberta, Canada. The village is located on the shores of Isle Lake.

Demographics

The Summer Village of Silver Sands' 2012 municipal census counted a population of 154.[2]

In the 2011 Census, the Summer Village of Silver Sands had a population of 85 living in 42 of its 57 total dwellings, a -50.9% change from its 2006 population of 173. With a land area of 2.35 km2 (0.91 sq mi), it had a population density of 36.2/km2 (93.7/sq mi) in 2011.[1]

In 2006, Silver Sands had a population of 173 living in 201 dwellings, a 37.3% increase from 2001. The summer village has a land area of 2.35 km2 (0.91 sq mi) and a population density of 73.6/km2 (191/sq mi).[3]

Attractions

The main attraction of this summer village is the Silver Sands golf and country club.[citation needed]
