Acting career

In 1981, the Hagibis members made a movie titled Legs Katawan Babae with Laarni Enriquez, Myrna Castillo and Jess Lapid, Jr. directed by Tony Ferrer. When Hagibis split up in the 80's, Parsons became an actor, director and a politician. He appeared in many action movies in the late 80's and early 90's. He starred with Ronnie Ricketts in 1989 action movie UZI Brother 9mm and directed by Francis 'Jun' Posadas. Instead for his first TV guesting in 1991 soap opera Agila which starred with Val Sotto, Aurora Sevilla and Roy Alvarez. Controversy

On July 18, 2002, there was a robbery incident inside the house of Parsons. Six men armed with pistols barged into the house in suburban Marikina as the maid opened the gate. The intruders then tied everyone up (Parsons with his wife and his maid). One of them poked a gun on Parsons' head but it did not go off. The men took the money, jewelry, cellular phones and a video camera. They then entered the girl's bedroom, tied them up and started undressing them. Parsons tricked the intruders into believing a police patrol would be having breakfast at his house, prompting the gunmen to panic and leave. The maid then untied herself and that of Parsons. Parsons then retrieved his .45-caliber pistol and chased the gunmen, who were boarding a passenger jeepney, a public transit vehicle they commandeered. A shootout occurred and the actor killed the two men.

Personal life

Parsons is the founder and president of the Allied Forces of the Philippines Civilian Volunteers (AFPCIV), a reputable Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) whose mission is focused on humanitarian response and anti-crime operations throughout the Philippines.
