Sunrise Beach is a summer village in Alberta, Canada. It is located on the western shore of Sandy Lake, south of Sandy Beach.
Demographics
In the 2011 Census, the Summer Village of Sunrise Beach had a population of 149 living in 76 of its 151 total dwellings, a -12.4% change from its 2006 population of 170. With a land area of 1.72 km2 (0.66 sq mi), it had a population density of 86.6/km2 (224.4/sq mi) in 2011.[2]
In 2006, Sunrise Beach had a population of 170 living in 127 dwellings, a 78.9% increase from 2001. The summer village has a land area of 1.72 km2 (0.66 sq mi) and a population density of 98.6/km2 (255/sq mi).[3]
