Lebanon or Turkey qualified for the OQTs?[edit]

According to previous sources, with the Philippines named as one of the hosts of the OQTs, fifth placer at the 2015 FIBA Asia Championships, Lebanon qualified. With Serbia and Italy hosting, next best places at the Eurobasket, Latvia and Croatia qualified. However at the press release of FIBA where the hosts of the OQTs were announced. Turkey by virtue of its ranking was invited to complete the 18 team line-up. No mention of Lebanon anywhere in the report.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 17:07, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As of the moment only the Philippine press are saying that Lebanon qualified. Taking FIBA's words for now.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 17:24, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
FIBA selling berths as usual. It was supposed to be Lebanon. Turkey bought that place. The "FIBA Ranking criteria" is a bogus since in that criteria Russia is above Turkey. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 177.138.214.246 (talk) 20:08, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
