Controversies
[edit]Anyone think that we should add a section talking about the controversies regarding the nominations of "Music" and "Emily in Paris"
Trivia: This is the first time three women have been nominated for Best Director. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 106.197.248.182 (talk) 04:48, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
I agree with the person above - I haven’t heard about the “Emily in Paris” controversy but I definitely have heard of the Music controversy. 146.90.19.218 (talk) 23:51, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
After leaving my last message a few minutes ago, I searched up “golden globe controversies” and MANY articles came up - notably, one from the Independent names the “Emily in Paris” controversy among others. [1] 146.90.19.218 (talk) 00:01, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- As long as both controversies are sourced and related to the Golden Globes, anyone can add them. (CC) Tbhotch™ 02:55, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- I have now added a controversy section. 146.90.19.218 (talk) 19:38, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hammersoft has removed some information regarding the Music controversy. Many edits and reverts have been made since then. In fear of breaking 3RR, I'm not going to revert this but I will point out the existence of this article from a source deemed reliable. Would this be breaking any policies for inclusion (for example, can you use the same source (Independent) twice?). Also, I should point out that I am the same person who created the COntroversy section, I just have an account now EvanTaylor1289 (talk) 11:10, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
- As far as I know there are no rules against using the same newspaper as a source multiple times, as long as it is deemed a reliable one (which the Independent largely is). If you are looking for sources, Music (2021 film) has a fairly large number of sources more focused around the film than the globes, but might assist you. 94.13.35.21 (talk) 13:46, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit]@Yossymen: I have reverted a change you have made to this page because I feel it violates Wikipedia:SOAPBOX and Wikipedia:No original research (since the source you used is very similar to your username). If you disagree with this, you can discuss in the chat and then rerevert it. EvanTaylor1289 (talk) 11:36, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
