Is the Killer Mike song a cover/reference on this song? 惑乱 分からん 21:43, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What the title means

[edit]

ADIDAS is an acronym for "All Day I Dream About Sex" not "Sports". DeathTrap 23:52, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality

[edit]

This article and most articles writen about Korn all seem to be biast or oppinionated and the neutrality is questionable such as which albus are better, darker, slower, older, etc. Maybe this should be noted.

Fair use rationale for Image:KornADIDAS.JPG

[edit]

Image:KornADIDAS.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Given the other song, not to mention the Adi Dassler company, this can't really claim absolute primary topic In ictu oculi (talk) 15:21, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The Killer Mike song reached US Billboard Hot 100 60
The Korn song only US Bubbling Under Hot 100 13
Both reached 22 in UK In ictu oculi (talk) 00:18, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A.D.I.D.A.S.A.D.I.D.A.S. (Korn song)WP:SONGDAB due to A.D.I.D.A.S. (Killer Mike song), also the Killer Mike song placed higher in the charts. There is a dab at A.d.i.d.a.s.. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:38, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support the current title should point to a disambiguation page or be a disambiguation page. -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 03:50, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Sounds reasonable. I reverted the nominator's move because it just left the base name redirecting to the Korn song, but the fact that there are two songs with the same name and neither are the primary topic (or at least this one's not) means disambiguation is necessary. In the meantime I'll clean up the dab page and hat notes; it's currently extremely confusing.--Cúchullain t/c 12:27, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    • I've cleaned up the dab page and hat notes. I also found that Ras Kass has an album titled A.D.I.D.A.S. that's mentioned at his page and that seems to have enough coverage that it could be an article. I moved the dab page to Adidas (disambiguation), since nothing has ever been called "A.d.i.d.a.s." and this page is currently at the ambiguous A.D.I.D.A.S.. In the event of a move, A.D.I.D.A.S. should either redirect to the dab page, or the dab page should be moved there.--Cúchullain t/c 13:05, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
"it just left the base name redirecting to the Korn song" - yes to allow 48 hours for regular page watchers to revert per WP:BRD which includes Bold-Revert-Discuss. There was a discussion opened on the page "Given the other song, not to mention the Adi Dassler company, this can't really claim absolute primary topic In ictu oculi (talk) 15:21, 10 July 2014 (UTC)" but you did not discuss, and now you are supporting the discussion. A completely unneeded RM. In ictu oculi (talk) 22:12, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm confused. If it's unnecessary, why start it? In any event, now at least the dab page and hat notes are cleaned up.--Cúchullain t/c 00:37, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Because you reverted it. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:47, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Because you left the base name redirecting to the article.--Cúchullain t/c 01:05, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I think I understand now. You moved the page to A.D.I.D.A.S. (Korn song) with the intention of fixing the redirect later if no one objected? If that's the case, I apologize, I wouldn't have reverted it if I'd known. In the future it will probably be less confusing if you just left a note on the talk page and the then complete the entire move if no one takes issue.--Cúchullain t/c 02:06, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
