question...
[edit]The 2005 allegations say that he traveled from Hamburg to Karachi on September 3 2001, and spent three days in Karachi, prior to traveling to Afghanistan.
The 2004 allegations state that he: "... received training on the AK-47, RPG's, [sic] grenades and pistols at al Farouq; all of the aforementioned training occurred sometime in September 2001."
But many other documents state that al Qaeda shut down al Farouq on September 11th, because it was perceived to be too well-known a target for a US retaliatory strike. Other documents pretty clearly describe how recruits were pooled in certain guest houses until a new session opened at al Farouq. Basic training at al Farouq was about a month long. And other documents make clear a session had started shortly before he left Germany. So, did he attend some other camp that analysts confused with al Farouq? Geo Swan (talk) 19:20, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
Could you please discuss...
[edit]This guy was captured in File:Safe house in Faisalabad where Abu Zubaydah was captured.jpg. I added this image to this article. At some point the image has been removed.
I'd like to ask whoever removed it to return here and explain why they thought the image should be removed.
Cheers! Geo Swan (talk) 17:20, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
- I restored the images removed without any explanation. Geo Swan (talk) 17:35, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
