See discussion page of Incandescent light bulb. Lots of reliable sources credit Just and Hanaman of developing and patenting the first tungsten filament light bulb, more efficient than preceding carbon filament bulbs, but too fragile for practical use, so they were replaced by ductile drawn tungsten filaments invented by Coolidge in 1910 and sold in 1911. They also were the first to produce pure tungsten powder. The first name is also spelled "Alexander" in some references.
