Cousins?
[edit]I ascertain him to have been the first cousin of opera singer Stephanie Scourby (subject of My Grandmother Is a Singing Yaya), whose father was James Scourby, brother of Constantin. Parents of the two brothers were Nicholas Scourby and Stauriane Xanshus, all born in St. Nicholas, Sparta, Greece. I have found little evidence, however, to include in the article, that is not WP:ORIG, but did not want the familial connection of these two great voices to be lost to history, so am parking it here pending WP:RS. Work on Jacques Cousteau's shows.
[edit]As I recall, Alexander Scourby did the voiceover for many Jacques Cousteau shows in the 1960's and perhaps 1970s. Allassa37 (talk) 22:28, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
Bible recordings
[edit]I have removed much of the material from Alexander Scourby§King James Bible as it was entirely unsourced and described controversies surrounding copyright ownership of these recordings. This is the type of material that most certainly needs reliable sources. If anyone can find any, we can start to examine them to see what facts can verifiably be restored to the article.
