[edit]I tried to write this but some meanie delete it! Lilyfan87 16:08, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
In the article, it refers to Keith Allen as his uncle, and then further down, as his father. I am changing it to his father, since on his sister's page (Lily Allen), it says that Keith Allen is their father. kkarma (talk) 02:15, 20 December 2007 (UTC) Nevermind. I read it wrong. It says Kevin Allen is his uncle; Keith Allen is his father. No changes will be made to correct family relations. kkarma (talk) 02:16, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Alfie owen-allen was not in "Boy A" that was someone called Alfie Owen, with no Allen. So I deleted that sentence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.227.228.91 (talk) 07:30, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
i took out the line saying atonement co-star keira knightly said he smoked a lot of marraiuna because as far as i know hes not in atonment and even if he was she proubobly wouldnt say that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Axolotyl (talk • contribs) 20:08, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Actually the 'marijuana' remark from 'Keira Knightley', who was in Atonement in 2007 with Alfie Allen (as Danny Hardman), really happened. Alfie even went on to do an interview where he expressed frustration that she'd said it. Just do some simple Googling next time? Description
[edit]I want to add a description of Alfie Allen to reference the last words given about his most noticeable character portrayal on HBO's Game of Thrones. FCNX (talk) 23:15, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
- He is a good man but please read Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. --Yoda1893 (talk) 00:03, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
Considering the fact that "You're a good man" has gone viral and made him more popular, can we add a sentence in the description that highlights this particular scene and it's current popularity? Aravindan Shanmugasundaram (talk) 08:09, 3 May 2019 (UTC)

[edit]I believe the sentence mentioning "He is a good man" should be removed as this is very opinionated. Mgirard772 (talk) 23:55, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
Not that I'm implying that he's not a good man, but determination of how good/bad someone is is a matter of opinion, which shouldn't be part of a Wikipedia article which should be based solely on facts. Mgirard772 (talk) 00:02, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
As a reply to the above comment. The sentence "He is a good man" is not reflective of his character and therefore not an opinion but a fact that of which a character in a piece of the person's life was told. It is a verifiable fact that his character was told this thus I suggest that the sentence can be included but with a citation.Screamerjoe (talk) 04:25, 1 May 2019 (UTC)

Change "and nominated himself[1] for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2019.[2][3]" to "and, after submitting himself for consideration[1], was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2019 .[2][3]"
The wording used in the current revision is lifted from the bbc source indicated by [1], but the article's wording is misleading as it uses the word "nominate" in two very different contexts, both to mean a submission to the emmy's for consideration and the subsequent possible nomination. As the current revision stands, it can be misread that Alfie Allen is in charge of Emmy nominations and nominated himself. It is worth mentioning Allen submitted himself for consideration since that rarely results in a nomination, but it should not be stated he "nominated himself." Instead of the bbc source that is currently used for [1], use this source that is more clear on its word choice: https://www.cnbc.com/2019/07/18/why-game-of-thrones-stars-submitted-themselves-for-emmy-nominations.html The princepenguin (talk) 08:10, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- I actually agree, I reverted it once because I really didn't like the wording and it didn't have a cite before, but I was reverted by Stwalkerster, maybe he can review his edit. Govvy (talk) 10:11, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- Done. That's much better wording, thanks The princepenguin! Govvy, for the record, I only reverted the edit because you thought it was incorrect (whereas I'd seen the BBC News article earlier in the day); I have no qualms whatsoever if you want to expand, move, reword or even remove altogether again if it's for a different reason than "it sounds wrong" :) stwalkerster (talk) 17:58, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- I really did thought it sounded wrong and not quite right on that first edit, but it reads much better now, cheers. Govvy (talk) 18:33, 19 July 2019 (UTC)

[edit]why is the discography for is sister Lily included in his bio? (see bottom of page). It should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.70.2.200 (talk) 20:14, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah I actually agree with this. While I guess its innevitable that her world and his collide, siblings and all that, his career is not defined by her, and he's not a subcategory of her.
